I work with infants, kids, teens, and adults utilizing Mind Body Spirit Release®. I love working with families so that I can support the entire family structure.
Mind Body Spirit Release® identifies and mitigates cellular imprints that are contributing to poor energy flow and chronic stress in the body.
Stress can come from many sources, whether they are physical stressors, like environmental toxins, or emotional stressors like unprocessed emotions. When stressors are present, they demand energy from the body. A body that is constantly trying to suppress, ignore, and detach is depleted and out of balance. The more energy that is required to “manage” negative cellular imprints, the less energy the body has to maintain homeostasis and optimal health.
Mind Body Spirit Release® identifies the patterns that are no longer beneficial and empowers us to learn new ways to respond to stress. It is a tool for restoring the flow of energy and opening us up to creating new neural pathways.
For this portion, we will be off video. Muscle testing is then used to identify areas of resistance to the intention. I work through thousands of possible items to see where there is stress or an imbalance in your energetic field. Once the muscle testing is complete, I facilitate the “clearing” by shining the cold laser on specific accupressure and meridian points using myself as a proxy. This process is what mitigates the stress response in the body and restores the flow of energy, which has a calming effect on your nervous system.
In the last part of the appointment, we rejoin the video session and review the results of muscle testing. I write action steps for you and email you detailed notes from the session as well as recommended next steps. We discuss what to expect after sessions and the frequency of follow-up visits.
In the initial session, we review intake forms and discuss your health history during a video session. I gather comprehensive information and create a personalized intention. This intention describes the goals you are working to accomplish and defines the focus of our work together.

One of the beautiful parts about utilizing Mind Body Spirit Release® with infants and kids is that they have no conscious bias. Whereas adults tend to let skepticism impact their care, children don’t have the same disposition that can slow progress. Out of all the clients I work with, infants and children always integrate change with the most ease.
First and foremost, please remember that I am not a therapist. Mind Body Spirit Release® is never meant to diagnose, treat, cure, or prescribe in any way, nor take the place of medical or therapeutic care. I always make sure my clients have the proper support outside of MBSR if they are navigating trauma or a topic beyond my scope of practice. I am a big proponent of therapy, and it’s a highly complementary tool to Mind Body Spirit Release®.
Mind Body Spirit Release® works on the energetic plane. Often, we uncover unconscious beliefs in therapy and recognize ways we are stuck or self-sabotaging. But gaining awareness doesn’t always generate change. In my experience, this is where Mind Body Spirit Release® excels. Whether you are working on relationship dynamics, success in your career, improving your physical wellbeing, or changing your lifestyle - you need the capacity (energy) to shift your beliefs and actions.
Mind Body Spirit Release® clears energetic resistance, allowing for new/healthier beliefs, patterns, and dynamics to form. This is why I describe Mind Body Spirit Release® as a catalyst for change.
Mindset work (affirmations, reframing) can be very helpful in changing our experience of the world! However, mindset shifts don’t address the subconscious mind, which creates the framework you’re operating from. If we don’t work with the subconscious to create a healthier foundation, then we will expend a lot of energy attempting to consciously change things.
I often say that Mind Body Spirit Release® is a catalyst for change. In the context of trauma, this may mean it helps to reduce the chronic stress or visceral reactions one experiences as a result of trauma. However, when we facilitate energetic clearings with MBSR, it does not mean that something is simply gone forever. Mind Body Spirit Release® can lessen the impact of distressing experiences, but it does not erase the incident. Please remember that I am not a therapist and I will refer out if the topics of our work go beyond my scope of practice.

Muscle testing measures a natural stress response called binary biofeedback which is the measure of the body’s response to a stimulus. Binary biofeedback is used in virtually every medical field from EEGs to heart rate monitors. There are everyday examples of binary biofeedback; for instance, under stress, our heart rate increases, perspiration occurs, blood flow goes away from the digestive tract and towards extremities so you can run if you’re in danger.
Muscle testing uses the body’s muscles to measure a response. Our muscles are controlled by nerves and muscles respond differently to different nerve messages. Therefore, we have the ability to utilize muscle strength as a way to understand what the nervous system is telling us. By tapping into the nervous system, we can identify imbalances in the body and identify solutions. There’s nothing magical about muscle testing, it’s simply interpreting nerve signals.
When the body is presented with something that it perceives as a stress to the system (something it’s incompatible with) the electrical signals between brain and the muscles are “short-circuited” and the muscle is weakened. When the body is presented with something that it is compatible with, the muscle is strong.
We are able to muscle test remotely due to the principle of non-locality. This is the ability of a particle to be influenced instantaneously by another particle with no visible exchange of force or energy. This can occur from any distance. We apply the principle of non-locality when we facilitate virtual muscle testing and energy work. When we do remote muscle testing, we use a pendulum to understand the nervous system messages in place of a client's arm.
Pendulum testing is a branch of muscle testing called ideomotor response. Ideo= idea, motor= muscle. When muscle testing clients from a distance, I use my own nervous system to test for someone else (sometimes called proxy testing). The pendulum moves by nerve impulses in the hand while the nervous system is responding to testing prompts instead of physical stimuli. It’s crucial to note that pendulum testing cannot tell the future- it’s not predictive. The body has an innate ability to heal, but we not only need positive input such as nourishing food, a healthy environment, a growth mindset, etc., it’s also imperative to identify what could be taxing your energy, preventing elimination of waste, or stalling emotional regulation. These demand resources/energy from the body. A body that is constantly trying to suppress, ignore, and detach is depleted and out of balance. The more energy that is required to manage negative cellular imprints, the less energy the body has to maintain homeostasis and optimal health.
A clearing within Mind Body Spirit Release® is performed by shining a cold laser light on specific reflex and accupressure points of the body. This activates the neurological and endocrine systems. The clearing disrupts the stress response which helps to calm the nervous system and release negative stored associations with the stressors. MBSR helps to mitigate overall stress on the body, freeing up more energy to grow and thrive.
For Mind Body Spirit Release® I work with infants, kids, and adults of all ages. If you want to incorporate supplement support, I only offer this for teens and adults (not infants or kids). I have colleagues who specialize in supplement and dietary support for kids and I am happy to provide referrals.

There's not a set number of sessions you will need to accomplish your goal, but it's not a "one and done" approach! Energy work accelerates improvement, but all holistic approaches take time and consistency. A good phrase to keep in mind is "go slow to go fast." Generally, I recommend a minimum of 3-4 sessions per intention (focus area). The objective of this work is always to "graduate" clients; I want you to accomplish your goals and move onward.
